Shahzaman Ali Khan the son of Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, is a rising voice in the world of Qawwali and Sufi music. Hailing from one of the most celebrated musical dynasties of South Asia—tracing back over 600 years—Shahzaman carries forward the legacy of his father, grandfather Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan, and the legendary Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Having made his musical debut in 2022 as part of his father’s ensemble, Shahzaman quickly drew attention with his powerful vocals and soulful delivery. His first major appearance at London’s O2 Arena during a charity concert for Pakistan flood relief marked a promising start to his journey. He soon ventured into television with his OST performance for the drama Bismil, showcasing his versatility as a young artist.
