Sophiya Anjam completed her schooling from Lahore Grammar School(LGS) and then her Masters in Mass Communication from Kinnaird College. She also had a 15 day training from Kromosome, a joint India-Pakistan production house based in Dubai, UAE in the summer of 2006. She has also interned at The Nation, Dawn, Evernew Concepts & HUM TV.

In 2006, Sophiya was encouraged by a friend to give an audition at FM91’s headquarters in Lahore, she took to radio like a fish to water. Today, apart from hosting ‘Drive On With Sophie,’ four days a week, Anjam also doubles up as the station’s marketing head.

Sophiya started her career as a Radio Jockey (RJ) with FM91 Pakistan & hosted the popular morning show ‘Head Over Heels’. Later, she became the voice of the evening drive time show. She is currently also Lahore Station’s team lead.
